This summer, Healing from the Root will be closed Aug. 4-8, 25-27.

Did you know that?
- Healing from the Root has been at its Danforth Carrot Common location since 2005.
- Our offices at 348 Danforth Ave are accessible with a chairlift to the second floor.
- Back in 2004, Healing From the Root Acupuncture's founder, Julian Jones, interned in China at the first Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Hunan Zhong Yi Xue Yuan).
Summertime on the Danforth
- The Big Carrot, located on ground level below Healing from the Root, hosts a courtyard bbq every other Wednesday June through August.
- Enjoy BD Beats 2025 summer music series featuring live music at various locations across the strip, Thursday and Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons, June through August.
- Hear the Sounds of Greektown including Jazz, Caribbean, Greak and Latin at Alexander the Great Parkette, Curb Lane Patios and CaféTO Parklet, Thursday to Sunday, Aug. 4-Sept. 25 .
